My Friend Rabbit by Eric Rohmann is a fun picture book and Caldecott Medal Award winner. The story follows a mouse named Mouse letting his best friend Rabbit play with his new toy plane. The problem is whenever Rabbit is around there is always trouble to follow. The story continues on with the two friends working together to get back the airplane that Rabbit had lost in a tree, and the patience and loyalty that they both share for each other. I like this book because it has great illustrations that add to the overall story of the book. Additionally, the story has a good message for its readers about good friendships, and the qualities that they have.
